Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Hi!Penpal! ("the Service") and its members regarding the use of the international penpal service.
Article 2 (Purpose of the Service)
Hi!Penpal! is operated to provide a wholesome international penpal (letter exchange) community. The Service may not be used for dating, matchmaking, commercial solicitation, or any purpose other than wholesome penpal exchange.
Article 3 (Restriction and Sanctions)
If a member uses the Service for purposes other than wholesome penpal exchange (e.g., romantic or dating solicitation, requests for money, fraud, or spam/advertising), the account may be deleted or the use of the Service may be restricted without prior notice.
Article 4 (Member Obligations)
Members must provide accurate information when registering and creating their profile, and must not impersonate others or register false information. Members are solely responsible for the content of their profiles and communications.
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)
Members must not post unlawful content, obscene material, or abusive/harassing content that harms others, nor engage in commercial advertising or infringe upon the rights of others. Violations may result in a warning, restriction of use, or deletion of the account.
Article 6 (Provision and Change of Service)
Hi!Penpal! may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons and will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice on the Service.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
Hi!Penpal! is not responsible for any disputes or damages arising from correspondence or interactions between members. Members interact with other members at their own discretion and risk.
Article 8 (Amendment of Terms)
These Terms may be revised as necessary, and any revisions will be announced on the Service prior to their effective date.
