Collected information is used for member registration and identification, providing the penpal matching service, preventing fraudulent use, and processing reports and sanctions.
3. Retention and Use Period
Personal information is destroyed without delay upon withdrawal, and in any case within 30 days. The following records are retained separately for abuse prevention and dispute resolution before deletion:
- Report records: retained for 1 year(s)
- Profile-view records: retained for 2 years
4. Provision to Third Parties
Hi!Penpal! does not provide personal information to third parties, except where required by law or requested by a competent authority through lawful procedures.
5. Outsourcing of Processing
Hi!Penpal! does not currently outsource the processing of personal information. Members will be notified in advance should this change.
